I take things apart to understand them, then build them better.
“I care most about the gap between a concept and a working prototype — closing it fast, testing it on real people, and being willing to be wrong.”
Background
I'm a product developer and industrial designer with a mechanical engineering background, from RPI, now a part of Carnegie Mellon's MIIPS program. I'm drawn to the products people use without thinking twice — the everyday objects that only feel effortless because someone solved the hard problem behind it. I sit at the table between design and engineering: comfortable sketching a concept, then building and testing the prototype myself.
Approach
Good products come from fast prototypes and honest user feedback, not perfect first drafts. I build something rough, put it in front of people, and let what breaks tell me what to fix next. I bring enough engineering into the room to make real tradeoffs — without losing sight of the design and who's actually using the product.
